Cultural Affairs Offers Grants for Creative Projects Throughout L.A.

The Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) will issue grants from its Public Space Activation Fund (PAF) for creative proposals. Artists, community residents, cultural advocates, local nonprofits, and neighborhood business managers are welcome to submit new and innovative community engagement propositions to DCA starting November 1.

Online applications for creative proposals will be accepted starting November 1, by the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA). The agency will issue grants from its Public Space Activation Fund (PAF) and artists, community residents, cultural advocates, local nonprofits, and neighborhood business managers are welcome to submit new and innovative community engagement propositions to DCA. Also, the Community Activation Fund will pay for three new “signature festivals” in each of the following five Los Angeles City Council Districts: 3, 6, 8, 9, and 12.
