L.A. County Kicks Off `United Against Hate Week 2021

  Los Angeles County’s “United Against Hate Week 2021” has launched — a blend of art, social media, and educational resources urging communities to reject hate and bigotry and promote inclusion and understanding. The Los Angeles City Council has voted to approved a resolution to declare racism a public health crisis in the city. The resolution, put forward by Councilmembers Herb Wesson, Curren Price, and Marqueece Harris-Dawson, also calls on City of Los Angeles departments to review their internal policies and procedures.
