Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer shared powerful and inspiring words with the congregation during his final sermon as senior pastor of Faithful Central Bible Church.  After nearly 41 years as the spiritual leader, the internationally known theologian parted on Sunday, February 19 with the message entitled, “I Did My Best” and using 2 Timothy 4:6-7 as his text.

Bishop Ulmer Steps down, Events Set to Salute His Legacy

Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer will conclude four decades as senior pastor and teacher of Faithful Central Bible Church on Sunday, February 19.  In recognition of his transformative ministry, the congregation will host a series of “Legacy of Champion” events, which will culminate in a tribute concert. The celebration began on Feb. 5 with the installation of the new senior pastor, the Rev. John-Paul C. Foster. The rejoicing continues on Sunday, Feb. 12, at 9 a.m., with Ulmer leading the worship in The Tabernacle, 321 N. Eucalyptus Avenue in Inglewood.
