Jalen Coleman is passionate about keeping aspiring hoopers in the community to train and compete. He was able to promote local play through his annual 3v3 basketball tournament at Edward Vincent Park in Inglewood.
The Los Angeles Clippers recently partnered with Intuit and Aspiration to plant trees in Edward Vincent Park. This event is part of the franchise’s commitment to plant 1,000 trees in Inglewood ahead of the Intuit Dome’s grand opening in 2024.
As of June 9, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) reported 1.4 million cases of COVID-19 among youth aged 5-17, which accounted for 15.5% of all cases in the state. There have been 46 deaths among children in this age group. For children below five years old, 293,607 confirmed cases have been reported and 25 deaths.
In honor of Women’s History Month, the Los Angeles Rams hosted a girls’ flag football clinic at Edward Vincent Park on Friday. Along with conducting throwing and running drills, Nike gave the participants t-shirts and sports bras.
Volunteers planted 56 trees at the park to honor Super Bowl LVI.
