As part of its long tradition of sharing much-needed resources with the community, the 10th Council District Women’s Steering Committee will hold their annual Health and Wellness Seminar on Friday, October 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Department of Water and Power Community Center, 4030 Crenshaw Blvd., in Los Angeles.
Strategies to empower and improve the lives of females will be offered at 8th Annual Women’s Empowerment Conference set for Thursday, May 30 through Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Doubletree Hilton South Bay in Torrance. The three-day event, sponsored by The Company International, will be hosted by Apostle Beverly “Bam” Crawford, TCI founder/president and pastor of Bible Enrichment Fellowship International in Inglewood, and Gabrianna Crawford, TCI vice president who also performs as the artist, Punky G. The conference theme, “Accelerate…Change Your World,” highlights TCI’s mission of providing life navigation tools and resources to aid women in achieving their goals
