Faith Community Mourns Dr. Paul Martin

The faith community is mourning the passing of the Rev. Dr. Paul M. Martin, the first African-American president of the American Baptist Seminary of the West (ABSW) in Berkley. Dr. Martin passed away on March 23 at the age of 77 while in Denver with his wife, Dr. Agnes Martin, a former ABSW trustee. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 16, at 11 a.m., at Second Baptist Church, 2412 Griffith Avenue in Los Angeles.
