USC Trojans Blow Chance to Upset Washington Huskies, Losing 52-42

On Saturday, one scene said it all at the end of USC’s loss (7-3, 5-2, Pac-12) to the Washington Huskies (9-0, 6-0 Pac-12). Trojan quarterback and reigning Heisman winner Caleb Williams found his mother in the stands and jumped into her arms, crying, as she hid his face from public view with a piece of paper.

USC Defensive Play Wins Game Over Cal 50-49

It wasn’t the prettiest of wins at the California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley, but in a game where getting the ‘W’ is what matters, the No. 24 USC Trojans (7-2, Pac-12, 5-1) defeated the California Golden Bears (3-5, Pac-12, 1-4) 50-49 in a back-and-forth game that saw the often-maligned Trojan defense end a two-game losing streak during the final minute of the game, shutting down a two-point conversion attempt by the Bears. It was a massive play for the defense, who also forced four turnovers.

USC Falls to Utah Again, 34-32

The No. 18 Trojans began the day with one thing in mind: beating the Utah Utes after a heartbreaking loss to Notre Dame. The Trojans and their legions of fans would leave the Coliseum disappointed after losing again to the Utes. As most sports fans would say, the Utes have the Trojans’ number; they spoiled it for the Trojans once again.

USC Routs Nevada 66-14

On Saturday, the sixth-ranked USC Trojans continued their winning ways, routing the Nevada Wolf Pack 66-14 at the L.A. Coliseum.
