‘The Message’ Gospel Musical Play Debuts

NAACP award-winning playwright Kosmond Russell will present a scripted showcase presentation of his new play, “The Message.” The free event will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, at 4 p.m., at the Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center, 4300 Degnan Blvd., in Los Angeles. James Pickens, Jr., of “Grey’s Anatomy” will serve as host.
