The Weingart Foundation, a private, non-profit grantmaking organization focused on racial justice, has named Crystal Crawford its inaugural Director of Strategic Partnerships.
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors offered or renewed $10,000 rewards today for information leading to the killers of a 24-year-old preschool teacher sitting in a parked car in Inglewood in 2009 and a 53-year-old father of three shot to death in the backyard of his Windsor Hills home in 2019.
Inglewood Mayor James Butts and the City Council are offering a reward for information related to a 2009 murder. On May 31, 2009, 25-year old Crystal Crawford was fatally shot while sitting in a car with friends. The shooting took place in the 2900 block of 95th Street.
