The Los Angeles Rams hosted their fourth annual Community Blitz Day of Service by partnering with Pechanga and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank for a food distribution event. Over 3,600 Angelenos drove to Sofi Stadium to benefit from the event.
Bishop Clarence McClendon partnered with L.A. Councilmember Herb Wesson and the cities of Inglewood and Los Angeles to launch community food distribution program. The kick-off event was held on May 29, at The Place of Grace, 2543 W. Manchester Blvd., In Inglewood. The immediate goal of the campaign is to provide free food and essential items each Friday to 100 families that have been affected by COVID-19. McClendon said that future plans call for operating a food pantry “Monday thru Friday for anyone that might need assistance. “We are determined to make a difference in the lives of the people
