The Brotherhood Crusade announced its partnership with internet company Spectrum which includes a $50,000 donation along with laptops, a gigabyte-per-second internet service, a smartboard, and renovations. The partnership is a component of the Spectrum Community Center Assist Initiative.
“An initial retroactive $1.50 increase will be implemented immediately for our hourly frontline employees in the field and customer operation groups, who are the face of our company to our nearly 30 million customers. These employees provide essential communications services to our residential and business communities, including hospitals, first responder and government facilities, which help flatten the curve and protect the country. Additionally, these same field and customer operations hourly workers will receive another permanent $1.50 per hour raise on top of their March 2021 merit increase. Charter has committed that in 2022 all hourly employees will have a minimum starting rate of $20 per hour.”
The channel is the endeavor of the network’s visionaries and co-founders, chairman J.C. Watts, Jr. and CEO Bob Brillante.
BNC, which officially launches at 6 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2019 has agreements with Charter Communications, Comcast and DISH TV. The network already has commitments for carriage in major African American hubs like Atlanta, New York City, Chicago, New Orleans, Houston, Philadelphia, Detroit, Washington, DC, Baltimore and Los Angeles.
