Ruth E. Carter made history again on Sunday, March 12, becoming the first Black woman to win two Oscars. Carter won her second Oscar at the 95th Academy Awards for best costume design for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
The 95th Oscars are around the corner, and all eyes are on the five nominations received by “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” R. Christopher White, a master guru of visual effects, is nominated for the third time and is a man whose work you probably already know, but don’t realize it.

In honor of the November 11 theatrical debut of Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” the Walt Disney Company recently hosted a community screening at El Capitan Theater in Hollywood for its nonprofit collaborators serving the next generation of storytellers, innovators, and leaders.
Nearly five years after the monumental success of “Black Panther” (2018), the highly anticipated sequel, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” will be released on November 11th. Director Ryan Coogler persevered through an insurmountable challenge of co-writing and directing the film following the passing of star Chadwick Boseman, who was the living embodiment of his character King T’Challa.
