The Rev. Jerred K. McDaniel was recently appointed the new pastor of First AME Zion Church, located at 1085 N. Raymond Avenue in Pasadena. Bishop Staccato Powell, presiding prelate of the Western Episcopal District of the AME Zion Church announced the appointment during the 97th Session of the Southwest Rocky Mountain Conference held at Martin Temple AME Zion Church in Compton.
