Sour Patch Kids is holding an open casting call for teenagers, ages 16-19, to compete in a first-of-its-kind, teen-only reality game show in New York and Los Angeles, Saturday January 23 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday January 30 from 10:00 to 6:00 pm respectively. YouTube sensation, Twaimz, will visit New York City and Los Angeles this month as part of a nationwide search for 36 fame-seeking, real teens to audition for the online reality series.
Some of the casting criteria? Must be a teenager. Must love prom. Casted personalities will participate in prom-themed challenges – testing everything from their best dressed to their dance moves – all to be judged by Twaimz and other social media celebrities in episodes slated to air on Twaimz’s YouTube channel throughout the 2016 prom season.
Following last year’s Promposal Contest and “Breaking Out: Prom Edition” series starring teens’ favorite YouTubers, Sour Patch Kids is continuing to turn sour prom moments into sweet successes — this time, the concept will take a twist, showing everyday kids in challenging prom scenarios for the world to see.
