Shaneen C. Bonner Ministries aims to aid people seeking a closer relationship with God.

To help spread their message, the organization sponsors workshops, forums and outreach events around the greater Los Angeles area.

The ministry offers tangible assistance to others through ongoing activities such as a feeding and clothing program for the homeless and distribution of free school supplies and backpacks to students.

People desiring spiritual encouragement can attend Bonner Ministries’ upcoming program, “Ask the Prophets – 3rd Round,” on Saturday, April 23, at 11:30 a.m., at the DoubleTree By Hilton Hotel, penthouse level, in Torrance. The free event includes breakfast.

In addition to Bonner, the program will feature Minister Faye Stamper, Elder Gerald Jones and Minister Carole Bodney. The special guests are Prophetess Regina Chambers, Prophetess Jennetta Campbell and Prophet James Hewitt and Apostle Jason Green of Slaughter House Ministries.

“Our goal is to empower and strengthen individuals in their Christian walk. We want the people of God to hold fast to their faith,” said Prophetess Shannen Bonner.

“We want to let the people of God know that God is still speaking in this time! According to Isaiah 45:1,1 God gives us permission to ask Him what is going on with the plans and purpose of our lives. Command ye me.”

Bonner, who is also the senior pastor of Power of Spirit Ministries, has maintained her commitment to God and His people since accepting the call to preach 20 years ago. She founded Shaneen C. Bonner Ministries in 2007. Her aunt and mentor, Apostle Celestine Wheeler, licensed her as a pastor in 2011 and she was ordained Apostle Bonner by Apostle Caroline Johnson of At Him Ministries three years later.

Now in her ninth year as head of her own ministry, Bonner is looking to expand the organization’s assistance to others.

“The ministry’s future goals are helping young ladies in difficult situations, providing a outlet for homeless women and families, and continuing to help the less fortunate,” she said.
