Below is an excerpt from the transcript and video of Congresswoman Karen Bass questioning Attorney General Jeff Sessions during his appearance before the House Judiciary Committee, regarding his department’s treatment of African Americans and the FBI’s recent report of “Black Identity Extremists.”

Rep. Bass: Are you aware of white organizations that do this as well? Given that white supremacy is well-documented, well-researched movement, such as the Neo-Nazis, the Kul Klux Klan, etc. Are they White identity extremists?

AG Jeff Session: I didn’t follow that question. Please, again.

Rep. Bass: Is there a term or a report on white identity extremists? You mentioned you’re familiar with Black people that identify with their racial identity.

AG Jeff Session: Yes, but it’s not coming to me at this moment.

Rep. Bass: It’s not coming to you?
