Offering a transformed walk in Christ, Price Chapel AME Church will hold their Summer Revival starting Wednesday, June 14, through Friday, June 16, at 7 p.m., in their edifice located at 4000 West Slauson Ave., in Los Angeles.
According to Pastor Benjamin Hollins, three ministers will expound on the theme, “A Revival of Hope: Spiritual Renewal in the Valley of Dry Bones.” The scriptural reference is Ezekiel 37:1-14.
“Everyone seeking to revitalize their relationship with the Lord should attend these services and hear powerful, Christ-centered messages by the Rev. Joyce Kitchen, the Rev. Darryl Walker and the Rev. Rosalynn Brookins,” said Hollins.
Kitchen is the pastor of Emmanuel H.M. Turner AME Church, Walker leads New Philadelphia AME Church and Brookins heads Walker Temple AME Church.
Kitchen will preach the opening service on June 14. A native of Los Angeles, she is acclaimed for successfully integrating her faith with her professional knowledge to aid youth and families in the L.A. area. She earned Bachelor degrees at both USC and CSU – Dominquez Hills. Also, she received Masters’ degrees from UCLA and Charles Drew University.
