Price Chapel AME Church plans a free Home Buyers Workshop to benefit L.A.-area families and community members.
The event will be held on Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the church’s Fellowship Hall located at 4000 W. Slauson Ave., in Los Angeles.
The session, co-sponsored by Team Equity LA Properties, will feature real estate professionals discussing the various steps to purchase a home.
“Come and get educated from the experts in the industry who can answer any questions you may have about the process to achieving the goal of home ownership,” said the Rev. Benjamin Hollins, senior pastor.
Jaye Freeney of Promise Maker of Team Equity LA Properties, Shonta Clark of New American Funding Inc., Sherry Bailey of Fidelity National Title Company will discuss a range of topics such preparing for home ownership, determining what is affordable, qualifying for a loan, and down payment assistance programs.
