A 51-year-old Pasadena man has been charged with sexually assaulting five women, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Anthony Joseph Miller (dob 10/10/66) faces five counts of forcible rape, two counts each of forcible oral copulation, sodomy by use of force and dissuading a witness from reporting a crime and one count each of sexual battery by restraint and false imprisonment by violence.

Miller pleaded not guilty to the charges yesterday and is scheduled to return on Oct. 24 in Department J of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Pasadena Branch. Case GA104352 was filed for warrant on Sept. 26.

The defendant is accused of sexually assaulting one woman in 2011 and the remaining four victims in August and September of this year, prosecutors said.

If convicted as charged, Miller faces more than 270 years to life in state prison. Bail is set at more than $10 million.

The case remains under investigation by the Pasadena Police Department.
