Pastor Lawrence K. Dove and the members of Park Hills Community Church sponsored an installation of 26 angels, above outside the edifice located at 5247 Overdale Drive in Los Angeles.

The Black History tribute commemorates the lives of people throughout the nation whose lives were ended due to racism. The angels represent Emmett Till, Fred Hampton, Clifford Glover, Randolph Evans, Sean Bell, Oscar Grant, Alyana Mo’Nay, Stanley-Jones, Jordan Davis, Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Walter Scott, Sandra Bland, Corey Jones, Freddie Gray, Alton Sterling, Philandro Castile, Jordan Edwards, Stephone Clark, Elijah McClain, Atatiana Jefferson, Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.

On Sunday, March 7, at 5 p.m., the church will host an evening vigil and ceremony. Live entertainment featuring “The Gift” are scheduled to perform.

The team responsible for the installation includes Marian Wade, Anton Avent, Irving Wade, Pastor Dove, Pamela Jones, Aryel Andrieu, Ayanna Brady, Toni & Rachel, Sign Gypsies, NaRhon Luke, F.L.I.I.P. and Connie Bass.
