The Women Aware Organization (WAO) of New Antioch Church of God in Christ will host their Annual Women’s Day Services on Sunday, May 21, at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. The services will be held at the church located at 7826 S. Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles.
The theme is “Standing for Holiness and Righteousness with Conviction and No Compromise” based on Matthew 6:33 and Ephesians 6:12-14. The keynote speaker is Evangelist Argatha Gilmore of Lake City, Florida.
“We invite the entire community to attend our services. Under the leadership of the WAO president, First Lady Floetta Lewis, and chairperson, Missionary Ann Walker, Women’s Day will indeed celebrate the founding purpose of the WAO,” said Superintendent Jeffrey M. Lewis, senior pastor.
Lady Lewis explained, “It is our endeavor to promote consistency in our lifestyles according to the Word of God; to provide a time for fellowship; to encourage, edify and strengthen sisters; and to impact our homes, communities and workplaces.”
Also, Supt. Lewis provides live expository teaching on Sundays at 11 a.m. and Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. at newantiochcogic.tv.
