Apostle Ronald C. Hill and the Love and Unity Christian Fellowship will be host to a Standing with Israel Event featuring Pastor John Hagee on Sunday, May 1, at 6:30 p.m., at 1840 South Wilmington Avenue in Compton.
Christians United For Israel (CUFI) sponsors the Standing with Israel Event. CUFI is the largest pro-Israel organization in the United States and one of the leading Christian grassroots movements in the world. The purpose of Christians United For Israel (CUFI) is to provide a national association through which every pro-Israel church, ministry or individual in America can speak and act with one voice in support of Israel in matters related to Biblical issues.
Pastor John Hagee founded CUFI, in 2006. Pastor Hagee will be the keynote speaker at the Standing with Israel Event. Pastor John C. Hagee, founder and senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, has built a ministry on straightforward Bible teaching and preaching, and unwavering support for the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. Cornerstone Church has a membership of over 18,000.
Apostle Hill and the Love and Unity Christian Fellowship Church are active supporters of CUFI. Apostle Hill and Lady Osie Hill recently accompanied Pastor Hagee to Israel as part of a delegation of 30 leading pastors from across the United States. During the visit the CUFI delegation met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The meeting was part of a six-day trip to Israel, organized and led by CUFI, intended to raise the pastors’ awareness about the issues facing the Jewish State.
“I believe that Christians need to support Israel. In fact, the Bible instructs us to do it. We at Love and Unity are proud to support with our actions and money. We have seen the blessings return to us, ” said Apostle Hill.
