Bishop Leon and Dr. Jacqueline Martin and Love Peace and Happiness Family Church plan their Annual Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday, November 22, following their 11:15 a.m. worship service at 4951 S. Figueroa St., in Los Angeles.
The free event is part of the church’s outreach to homeless and hurting, said Bishop Martin. “The Love, Peace and Happiness Church has put forth this event for the past several years. It is our endeavor to extend to the community an appreciation of thanks and express our love to the misfortunate during this economic crisis.”
He added, “We cordially extend this invitation for all to come and enjoy this worship experience. Bring your whole family.”
Volunteer servers and food donations are requested. All volunteer workers will meet on Saturday, November 21 p.m. at 12 p.m.
“Let’s make someone happy by reaching out to those less fortunate and experience the handwork of God in your life like never before. Give and it shall be given back to you,” said Bishop Martin.
