The Fifth Annual Long Beach Gospel Fest, founded by Pastor Wayne Chaney, Jr., and his wife, Myesha, of the Antioch Church of Long Beach, announced the star-studded lineup for the citywide worship event.

The multi-award winning performers include Tasha Cobbs, Deitrick Haddon, Kierra Sheard, Jonathan Nelson, Myron Butler, Jessica Reedy, and Brian Courtney Wilson.  The free, public event takes place on Sunday, July 19, at Marina Green Park, 386 East Shoreline Drive in Long Beach.

“My wife and I, along with our Antioch Church Family, wanted to bring life, hope and inspiration to this region on a massive scale. We also wanted to create a home for Gospel on the West Coast; a gathering place to host both world-class artists and emerging talent,” said Pastor Chaney.

Recording artist Tasha Cobbs, said, “TCM (Tasha Cobbs Ministries) is so excited to be a part of this year’s Long Beach Gospel Fest! Being such a highly anticipated event, I am looking forward to further extending my music and ministry to this vast audience.

“It’s extremely timely for me since I recently released my new single, ‘Jesus Saves,’ which I can’t wait to share with everyone there in Long Beach in July.”

The successful annual event is one of the city’s premier summer festivals.  Anticipating more than 20,000 attendees, the festival experience includes a morning worship service at 10:30 a.m., led by Pastor Chaney, followed by the afternoon concert at 12:30 p.m.

“Our vision wasn’t to simply to throw another fest, but to host a true worship encounter and celebration that would honor God and forever alter the climate of our region for good,” said Pastor Chaney.

In addition to the worship service and concert, a vendor marketplace will offer food, merchandise, and family-friendly activities throughout the day.

The Gold Experience ($50), also available to attendees, provides priority check-in, reserved seating, vendor concierge service and artist meet and greets.

Tickets, vendor and sponsorship opportunities and more information on the festival are available at
