On Sat., Jul. 21, mourners from across the country turned out for the funeral services of Joe Adams, the longtime manager of legendary musician Ray Charles and former Chairman of the Board of The Ray Charles Foundation.

Held at St. Paul Baptist Church in Inglewood, attendees included Valerie Ervin, President of the Ray Charles Foundation, Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark-Ridley Thomas and his wife Avis and sons Sinclair and Sebastian and The Raeletts’ Mable John. Following the services Adams was interred at Inglewood Park Cemetery.
Adams was 94.
