SitaraSon brings a bright new concept in Son music with their evocative Afro-Cuban rhythms and unique sound. One of the last Afro-Cuban Masters from his generation, Maestro Lazaro Galarraga has ensured that his music continues through an unbreakable bond formed with his band. Maestro Galarraga has worked as a singer, drummer, and dancer and was a founding member of the distinguished group Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba.  El Maestro received his Honorary Doctorate Degrees in Music Theory, History of Art and in Cuban Folklore from the Escuela Nacional de Arte for his prophetic vision and solid influence he has given Afro-Cuban music as an artist.
