USC basketball star and 2023-24 AP First Team All-American JuJu Watkins will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Los Angeles Dodgers game against the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday, June 22 at 7:10 p.m.

Watkins, a Los Angeles native, became an instant sensation as soon as she arrived on USC’s campus. In her first season wearing cardinal and gold, Watkins set the NCAA all-time scoring record for freshmen with 920 points, and she finished second in Division 1 women’s basketball with 27.1 points per game. Watkins’ outstanding freshman campaign saw her win several individual awards, and she helped lead the Trojans to their first Elite Eight appearance since 1994.
