Holly Carter in known for managing some of Gospel music’s most powerful artist like Mary Mary, Dietrick Haddon. She’s responsible for the breakout TV franchise “Preachers from L.A.”, Detroit and Atlanta and known for the Merge Conference she launched in Los Angeles which merges Hollywood and Gospel entertainers together for workshops, seminars and concerts.
Carter has now teamed up with film scribe Michael Elliot (“Just Wright”, “Brown Sugar”), Queen Latifah and her producing partner Shakim Compere to develop a religious-themed drama at Fox entitled “The Scroll”. The drama will reimagine some of the Bible’s most popular stories present day, through a group of friends and colleagues that are modern-day versions of some of the Bible’s most notable characters. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
