Attorney Merissa V. Grayson will share the latest information in the area of family law during a general session of the Brookins Legal Clinic.
The free program takes place on Saturday, October 13, at 2 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall at Brookins Community A.M.E. Church, 4831 South Gramercy Place in Los Angeles.
“We encourage the community to attend this forum. Attorney Grayson will provide valuable insight for those seeking information about laws and rights surrounding support and visitation,” said Pastor C. Dennis Williams.
Grayson, who operates a law firm in Los Angeles, specializes in family law and civil litigation. In 2009, she co-founded Legal Document Assistance, a company that aids those representing themselves in legal matters, and two years later, formed ‘Track 2 the Future,’ a nonprofit providing guidance to people desiring to refocus their lives on a better future.
A graduate of the University of Florida, she earned her J.D. degree from the University of West Los Angeles College of Law. Prior to attending law school, she worked with youngsters in a Florida Regional Juvenile Detention Center. She continues to donate time to local after-school enrichment programs and legal aid clinics around the Southland.
