Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce (GLAAACC) Chairman Gene Hale (1st row, 2nd from R), along with AECOM CEO Michael Burke and BizFed CEO Tracy Hernandez, recently convened an export trade roundtable on behalf of US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker. Hale, appointed by President Obama to the President’s Export Council (PEC) in 2011, invited community and business leaders to discuss the future of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement. GLAAACC President Angela Gibson-Shaw (3rd row, 3 from L) was also in attendance.
