Mike Gipson was named by Speaker Anthony Rendon to be Chair of the California State Assembly Democratic Caucus.
“It is an honor to be the Chairman of what I believe is the greatest Democratic Caucus in the country,” said Gipson. “The Assembly Democratic Caucus is one of the most diverse, effective, and impactful caucuses you’ll find anywhere in the world. I look forward to working with our members to continue to pass meaningful legislation, and to grow our ranks. I am excited to work with Speaker Rendon to continue to deliver for everyday Californians.”
Gipson is the State Assemblyman for California’s 64th Assembly District. He was elected in 2014 with 64% of the vote in the November 2014 election. He is currently running for re-election.
