The Father-Child Family Affair Golf Tournament is set for Saturday, March 26, and fathers, grandfathers and uncles are encouraged to attend as well as moms, grandmothers and aunts.
The event, which is hosted by A Father Forever, takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Maggie Hathaway Golf Course in Jessie Owens Park, located at 1921 W. 98th Street in Los Angeles. William Denson, coordinator, explained that games, toys and food will also be available.
“Bring your entire family and spend your Saturday playing a par three, nine hole round of golf with your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. It will be a festive, fun day you will remember for a lifetime,” Denson said.
Also, the program will include a presentation by Norky the Peneagle, who will appear from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. wearing is big yellow shoes, said Denson, who added, “Don’t forget to bring your camera to catch the special moments with dads and their children.”
