On Sunday, Sept. 29, at 4 p.m., all roads will lead to The Liberty Church, 14725 S. Gramercy Place in Gardena as Dr. “Lady Rose” Neale celebrates her 70th birthday with a live recording concert.
The theme is “Remembering the Journey — A Tribute to my Mom!” Pastor David and First Lady Jacqueline Cross will host the concert and the pastor will also serve as the worship leader.
“God has been better than good to me and this concert is my way of saying, ‘Thank You, Lord’ for all you’ve done for me,” said Neale. “My journey, thus far, has had ups-and-downs, trials and tribulations, unpleasant circumstances and filled with challenges. But God has always been right there and He delivered me out of them all!”
The special guests will be Jeffrey Coprich, Sr. and the Inner-City Mass Choir, Tony Jones and LACA (L. A. Chapter, GMWA), Psalmist Kadmiel Siler, Shanon Lorick-Timmons, Professor Eddie Kendrix, and the gospel group FIRE with Vicky Cotton, Barbara Howard, Claudia Loyd, Chantae Metcalf, Alana Nixon, Cathy Rachal. Also, TLC Unlimited & Friends, Angel Latrease Cross and QueQue Smith Praise Dancers will perform.
“There will be something for everybody — old school, new school, praise and worship. Doors will open at 3 p.m., with the concert starting at 4 p.m.,” said Cross. “You dare not miss this collection of musical gifts being presented for God’s Glory and manifold blessings in the life of Dr. ‘Lady Rose’ Neale.”
