For the 18th consecutive year, the Disciples on the Move Ministry will present its Annual Gospel Crusade Rally at Venice Beach Boardwalk in Los Angeles.

The day-long event is set for Saturday, August 15, at 11 a.m., at the intersection of Pacific and Windward Streets in Venice.

“This is a soul-saving free event to draw people to God. We encourage everyone to bring family members, friends and those who do not know Christ to the rally,” said Joann Daughtry, event organizer and founder of Disciples on the Move. Also, free food and clothing will be distributed.

“The homeless and hurting worship and praise alongside the rich and famous. As a result, many get saved, delivered, baptized in water, and filled with the Holy Ghost. Each year, usually there are approximately 350 souls saved that day,” said Daughtry.

Due to the large crowd of attendees, Daughtry said, “We are making an urgent call for pastors, missionaries, and soul winners to help us win the lost at Venice Beach,” she said.
