Sermons focus on turning relationship lemons into lemonade
Pastor David Cross will launch a new sermon series in July at the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship services at The Liberty Church, located at 14725 S. Gramercy Place in Gardena.
On Sunday, July 3, the services will be designated as a Special Day of Prayer for in preparation for series entitled “Lemonade,” which begins Sunday, July 10, 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
“If there is one thing I have extensively studied and have the t-shirt and hat as proof, and through my victorious experience, it is turning relationship lemons into lemonade,” said Pastor Cross.
“In this, one of my most important series ever, I will share with you through the Word of God from my experience as a clinical therapist and especially overcoming experiences how you can turn any relationship or life’s lemons into lemonade.”
His sermon topics will include “How to Live Happily Unmarried (Making Lemonade),” “Blended (Family) Lemonade,” “C.S.I. Lemonade (Communication, Sex & Intimacy with God),” “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction,” “Quench Your Thirst,” and “Moving From Mess to Blessed (Refreshing Lemonade).”
Lady Rose Neale will be the psalmist for both services on July 10. Also, attendees will receive a copy of Pastor Cross’ newly released CD, “The Declaration of Your Victory Part II,” along with a sample booklet and the “Coming Back from Relationship Setbacks” booklet. Young people will enjoy a free petting zoo and a special guest appearance by Mickey Mouse.
