The Los Angeles Chargers signed PK Michael Badgley, the organization announced on Thursday. In a corresponding move, WR JJ Jones was waived.
Badgley held the kicking duties for the University of Miami for four seasons. He finished as the all- time leading scorer (403 points) in program history. His 57-yard field goal as a sophomore in 2015 tied a school record. Badgley earned first-team All-ACC accolades as a senior. He was signed by the Indianapolis Colts in the preseason.
