Zoe Christian Fellowship sponsors a Community Health and Fitness Fair on March 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 5315 W. Adams Blvd., in Los Angeles, said Bishop Frank Stewart. Dr. Romeo Brooks of Roots Nutrition in Inglewood will discuss the benefits of good nutrition and fitness. Walking in the Spirit Ministries of Norwalk, CA celebrates its 9th anniversary on March 26, at 11 a.m., at the Doubletree Hotel’s Sonoma Grill, 13111 Sycamore Drive in Norwalk, Pastors Tim and Leshia Brooks. Breakfast will be served. The ministry provides free meals to those in need. Last year, they distributed more than 1,000 meals for those in need.

Academy Cathedral presents Friends Day on April 2, at 10:30 a.m., at 3141 W. Manchester Ave., in Inglewood. The program includes a free raffle ticket to win a new flat screen television. For details, call (323) 751-5151.

Silver Lining of Hope Crusade holds its 8th annual fundraiser dinner on April 7, at 6 p.m., at Carson Community Center, 801 E. Carson St., in Carson, said Pastor Winford Bell, president. Pleasant Hills Baptist Church plans a Spring Tea on April 8, at 2 p.m., at 2009 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., in Los Angeles, said Pastor Sylvester Washington and Coordinator Dolores Jones.
