In a world where mental health struggles often go unspoken, a transformative new workshop is breaking the silence.
“Soul Wounds, Soul Healing” Mental Health and Wellness Workshop is set to provide a safe space for individuals to explore emotional wounds, embrace healing, and cultivate resilience. The event will take place every Thursday in April from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Bryant Temple AME Church, 2525 West Vernon Avenue in Los Angeles.
Hosted by the Bryant Temple Community Development Corporation Recast Department and facilitated by Dr. Octavia Standley, the workshop is designed to address the deep-seated emotional wounds that can impact mental well-being. Through guided discussions, therapeutic exercises, mindfulness practices, and expert-led sessions, participants will gain tools to foster inner peace, emotional balance, and personal growth.
“There’s healing for your soul and it begins today,” said Dr. Standley. The “Soul Wounds, Soul Healing” workshop is open to individuals of all backgrounds, whether they are struggling with mental health challenges, supporting loved ones, or simply looking to deepen their self-awareness and emotional well-being.
