The wildly popular plant-based burger joint, Slutty Vegan, has made its way here to Los Angeles for a brief pop-up. SV has taken over the Nomoo New All-American Burgers spot at 7507 Melrose Avenue for its monthlong residency, which ends July 24. Hours are 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
The pop-up has a menu of several of the Slutty Vegan famed, mouthwatering burgers with sexy names like Sloppy Toppy and the One Night Stand.

Former L.A. resident and SV Owner Pinky Cole-Hayes is testing the market here because of its massive vegan market. Starting first in Atlanta, Slutty Vegan now has 12 operations across greater Atlanta and in Brooklyn, Harlem, Birmingham and Dallas.
Starting with the Slutty Vegan food truck in 2018, both Slutty Vegan and Coles-Hayes has drawn attention not just for its erotic name, but for making veganism accessible to all with hot (oh, my!) burgers (that can get a little messy, oh, goodness!) and that many would argue rival those hamburgers made with real meat.
Members of the Los Angeles Sentinel team stopped by to try it out. The vibe in the pop-up is just as vibrant and lively as one expects from the original location where people stand in line for hours to get their hands on one of these meatless burgers.
Patrons greeted by the cashier taking their order with, “Hey-o! We got some sluts in the building!” To which the rest of the kitchen staff calls back, ” In da buillllllding!!” And immediately, the smiles emerged and laughs errupted from the customers.
There was indoor seating at the counter indoors and outside tables, chairs and benches.
The Sentinel team tried the Dancehall Queen (with sweet jerk plantains), One Night Stand (with Slutty Strips vegan bacon) and Sloppy Toppy (with jalapenoes) burgers. All burgers come with a side of Slutty Fries and choice of either dragonfruit strawberry lemonade or lemonade for $20. No modifications are permitted.
Everyone agreed that the Slutty Vegan burgers were beyond delicious, and all definitely support a permanent Los Angeles location.
