An armed man walked into the kitchen of the Pasadena Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles and stolen chicken today.
A cook identified only as Robert told KCAL9, “He came back towards the kitchen … pointing the gun at me … and pretty much said `Put all the chicken in the bag.”’
The robbery occurred after the suspect had been turned away from the restaurant for failing to wear a mask, according to ABC7.
The robbery occurred about 5:40 p.m. at 830 N. Lake Ave., according to Lt. Bill Grisafe with the Pasadena Police Department, who did not confirm the details of ABC7’s and KCAL9’s reports.
The man left before police arrived and remained outstanding as of about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Grisafe said. No one was injured, he said.
