Bolstering Position as Supplier Finance Leader in Automotive & Supplier Diversity Verticals
Supplier Success, LLC, a supplier finance company focused on improving the working capital of corporations and suppliers, has announced that Glenda Gill has been hired in the role of vice president.
“The addition of Ms. Gill solidifies Supplier Success’ position as a leader in the automotive industry, with a particular focus on diversity markets and assisting diverse businesses,” said a spokesperson for the company.
In her new role, Gill will work with diverse suppliers to connect them to low-cost capital, in addition to directing Supplier Success’ philanthropic efforts. Supplier Success has pledged to allocate 80% of its profits to projects that benefit the public good.
She joined Supplier Success after spending over seventeen years at Rev. Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow PUSH Coalition, a multi-racial, multi-issue, international non-profit committed to driving social change. There, she served as executive director of the Rainbow PUSH Automotive Project, a program promoting minority inclusion in hiring, boardroom representation, purchasing, and consumer relations across the auto industry. Under Gill’s leadership, the Automotive Project negotiated over $4 billion in business contracts for more than 100 minority businesses. She also served as lead negotiator in Toyota’s 21st Century Diversity Strategy, a ten year, $7.8 Billion initiative.
“We are very fortunate to have Glenda, who has nearly two decades of expertise in the auto industry, on our team,” said Louis Green, CEO of Supplier Success. “No one is better suited to deliver cutting-edge supplier finance solutions to an industry that badly needs them. And no one will fight harder for the well being of diverse suppliers,” added Mr. Green.
Ms. Gill will operate out of Los Angeles, where the company plans to open an office later this year.
