The Los Angeles Chargers avoided a late rally by the Cincinnati Bengals to win 34-27. The game was at a stalemate for 12 regulated minutes. Running back J.K. Dobbins broke the tie with a 29-yard touchdown rush.
Dobbins noted how that game-winning play was rooted in determination.

“I was thinking score the ball, when I seen a little bit of space, I was like “I’m going to score.” That’s what I did,” Dobbins said. “It just shows that we aren’t playing our best ball yet. We’re still getting better.”
Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert had 297 passing yards and 65 rushing yards. His targets would catch bombs that were over 20 yards. Wide receiver Ladd McConkey received a 28-yard pass, wide out Quentin Johnston scored on a 26-yard gain. Tight End Will Dissly also made a 29-yard touchdown catch.

“It really, that ignited us, got us going. Picked up huge chunks on the ground,” Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh said about Herbert. “All those drives, touchdown drives he was generating through his arm and with his running ability.”
Several players expressed their praise to the offensive line for their role in the win.
“I could talk all day about them but they definitely showed up, they’ve been showing up from week to week,” Johnston said. “It’s been great going into battle with those guys day in and day out.”
The Chargers defense set the tone in the first half. They kept Cincinnati from the endzone, forcing two fourth-and-goals. The Bengals rushing yards were held to 29 yards as the Chargers head into halftime with a 24-6 lead.
“We’re trying to put the league on notice, let them know that we ‘re serious about what we’re doing,” said Chargers linebacker Daiyan Henley. “I think that just goes to the type of culture we have.”
The Bolts have another multi-sack game with Burrow losing 14 yards from three sacks. Chargers linebacker Tuli Tuipulotu made 1.5 sacks and had four quarterback hits in the effort.
“We can fight, we’re battle-tested,” Tuipulotu said. “We’re gonna keep trying to carry this into next week and keep stacking these wins.
The Chargers will next have a Monday Night Football game against the Baltimore Ravens on November 25 at 5:15P.M..
