You might remember the song “Nowhere to Run” by Martha and the Vandellas? “Got Nowhere to run to baby, nowhere to hide.” It’s on their “Dance Party” album cover.
“Dancing In the Streets” is one of my favorites. Perhaps, the writers and singers knew that title to be true about their subject circumstances or it was just a song reminiscing on life itself. I don’t know.
However, there will come a time when the full truth of that song title will be revealed not only in Biblical writings, but in physical reality terms at an unknown time in the future. You ask, “How do you know that?” Allow me to tell you about a little glimpse into that time and prophecy from Revelation chapter 6.
When the sixth seal is opened by the Lamb (Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Son of God), many catastrophic occurrences will happen. One of them: “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.” (Revelation 6:14)
Continue reading in verses 6:15,16,17. Have you ever seen those roll clouds that look like the sky rolling up like a scroll? I have. A dire warning is pronounced. “15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;16 And said (these were all screaming and hollering from fear and dread for not listening to the warnings way-way before about repenting and turning to Jesus Christ for salvation) to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:” 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”
They, the great men, the rich men, and the chief captains, and every mighty man and every bond man and every free man; they hid themselves in the dens and the rocks of the mountains, screaming in drastic, deathly, trembling fear saying, “Fall on us! Hide us from the face of Him that sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb. For the great Day of His wrath is come and who shall be able to stand?!”
They now come to the full, literal in their faces’ realization that what they (the prophets, apostles and those spreading the gospel today) were saying and being warned about is real! They mocked Him.
They laughed at those who were spreading the truth. They dressed up in costumes and called summits. They blasphemed their religion, scandalized the names of those standing for the actions, which dramatize the name of our Savior!
The “wrath of the Lamb,” who is now acting in His judicial capacity as “The Lion, is the judge. He’s calling the shots, so to speak. When you see all the things happening all around us, it’s no time to slow dance.
If you’re dancing in the streets, go ahead as long as you’re dancing for God Almighty as the servant girls danced celebrating David’s return from the wars. And his wife, Michal, scorned him, saying, “You’re making a fool of yourself dancing half naked in front of the servant girls.” David reminded Michal, “Your father (Saul) did not appoint me head over our people. My God appointed me.”
What was her punishment for speaking that way scornfully against Him, Almighty God, her husband and the servants? She never had a child. Let us be reminded about what we say, to whom we are saying it and what are the conditions that we say it.
Get ready and stay ready. Here’s the deal, you can have billions and billions of dollars. You can lead countries and be in charge. You can be the richer and the richest. However, to answer the question, “Who can be able to stand?” There is only “one mediator” between God and man, Jesus Christ, our resurrected Savior.
Don’t let the door shut on you. Please. You can be in the highest positions or have held the highest positions or received great awards in all the different categories. You can be the most beautiful and or the most handsome. With tears in my eyes, I am here to tell you. It will not matter. It does not count.
Multi-millions are now mesmerized, hypnotized, mass deception, unheard of persecution on one person since the time of Jesus, the Messiah. The key question – did you accept my beloved Son Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and then followed Him? He has strict accountability. Yes. He has a book with everything written. He doesn’t have a short memory.
Some will say, “Lord didn’t we do this and didn’t we do that for you in your name,” as cited in Matthew 25. He will say, “Depart from me. I never knew you.” This is no joke. His day is coming.
The all-powerful, all-knowing mind will have “His Day and His Time – the Day of the Lord.” Time is running out. We’re in the countdown.
