The Los Angeles Chargers signed the following eight players to Reserve/Future Free Agent Contracts, the organization announced on Monday. Seven of the players were on the 2018 practice squad roster while Ty Long comes to the Chargers after two seasons with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League.

Long joins the Chargers after two seasons in the CFL with the BC Lions. Long was a two-time CFL All-Star at the punter position, earning Most Outstanding Special Teams Player in 2018. The former UAB standout led the CFL in punting yards in both 2017 and 2018 and boasted a 48.3 yards per punt average over that span. He also connected on 88.2 percent of his field goal attempts with a long of 52 yards.
