The Brotherhood Crusade YouthSource Center is a partnership with the city of Los Angeles Economic Workforce Development Department (EWDD), to improve educational and employment opportunities for 16-24 year old South Los Angeles youth who are unemployed, out of school and/or facing additional barriers to employment and postsecondary education. The program increases educational and career-based mentoring opportunities by aligning youth with committed mentors, re-engaging youth in school, developing their vocational life and social skills, improving their academic skills, engaging youth in work experience volunteerism and paid internships, and eventually helping youth secure living wage employment.
