20-Year-Old Daunte Wright Shot By Minnesota Police

20-year-old Daunte Wright was shot at a traffic stop in Minnesota, reports present the incident happening in close proximity to the murder of George Floyd.

According to CNN, the Minnesota police officer allegedly shouted “Taser!” but a handgun went off instead. This information captured by CNN was released by Center Police Chief Tim Gannon.


Wright was driving with his girlfriend on Sunday when he was pulled over in a suburb area of Minneapolis. The situation began to take its escalated turn after the officer learned of Wright’s outstanding warrants. The bodycam that was released captured  Wright being shot; audio from the video recorded the cop shouting,

“Taser! Taser! Taser!”

“Holy sh*t!” the officer screams. “I shot him.”
