Joseph Business School Open House & Orientation this Fall

Join Zoe Christian Fellowship of Whittier this Fall as they launch the Grand Opening of The Joseph Business School (JBS) Greater Los Angeles Region. If you desire to become a more successful Leader of your own Business, Church, or Nonprofit, or if you want to start a new Organization…the Joseph Business School is for YOU. Leading up to the Grand Opening of this dynamic school will be a few Sneak Peak Sessions to prepare entrepreneurial minds for the available curriculum.

On Saturday, August 15, there was a JBS Sneak Peak and Orientation held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. Missed it? No worries! On Saturday, September 12, 2009 there will be a second JBS Sneak Peak and Open House, also held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. This upcoming sneak peak is free to the public, however an RSVP is strongly suggested. Also, on Saturday September 19, 2009, attend the session entitled, “Uncover the Hidden Potential in Your Business” with Guest Speaker Beverly Kuykendall from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. The cost for this event is $25.00.

The Joseph Business School trains Christians who are called to be entrepreneurs how to start and operate profitable and successful businesses using biblical and practical principles as well as empowers them to release God’s anointing to prosper and establish God’s Kingdom on earth. The Joseph Business School Greater Los Angeles Region is an affiliate of the Chicago-based Joseph Business School, started in 1987 by Dr. Bill Winston. The school offers a new, inspired way to learn the disciplines of business in a supportive environment. The focus of the school is on teaching effective entrepreneurship and business development skills as critical tools for eradicating poverty and rebuilding communities throughout the United States and around the world. The nine-month entrepreneurial training program is certified by the State of Illinois Board of Education and has produced numerous and successful entrepreneurs. Its reach has expanded to include locations throughout the World including Haiti, South Africa and Zambia, Africa just to name a few. Classes will begin October 10, 2009 in the Los Angeles area, and will be held on successive Saturdays through June 2010.

The mission of JBS is to select and train believers who have been called to be entrepreneurs the practical aspects of starting and running a business using Biblical principles. The goal of JBS is to produce entrepreneurs who will be able to receive God’s direction and blessing so that they will be a blessing to the community, the nation and the world to such an extent that the world will recognize that they are under the anointing of God.

Some of the courses offered in this unique curriculum include: Business Plan Introduction, Intro to eBusiness, Business Etiquette, Marketing/Location, Presentation Skills Workshop, Christ & the Corporation, Life as a Christian Entrepreneur, Intro to PowerPoint & Excel and many more.

Students at JBS can expect to experience the difference of spirit-filled business training, learn how JBS can help them build their existing or new business, meet distinguished faculty, and learn about tuition assistance.
