Briana Johnson holds a long list of accomplishments and is using them to make a difference.

She’s a 7th Grader that seems destined for great things with her long list of accomplishments. Briana Johnson has been competing in pageants since age two-and winning. More than beauty, Johnson also has the brains and heart to match as she is lending her credits to worthy endeavors.

At two-years old, Johnson won the Little Miss Hawaiian Tropic Beauty Contest, which would lead to many more wins. In 2009, she would win Miss Simi Valley, Miss Starlette Princess and Miss Ontario Princess. In 2010, she claimed the title of Miss Santa Clarita Princess and Miss California Tropic in three districts.

Johnson also excels in academics as well. She holds a 3.5 GPA at Palmdale Learning Plaza and has a perfect attendance record. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) of Los Angeles County has honored her twice for scholastic achievements in visual arts, photography, film, video, music composition and literature.

Last year, the NAACP honored her as “Lil Miss Wonderful of the Antelope Valley” and Youth Humanitarian of the Antelope Valley. She was also presented with the Outstanding Student Recognition award.

In addition, Johnson is an aspiring actress, having appeared in a number of musical productions including “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” “Beauty Is,” and “About Being Black.” She’s been in films such as La Hacienda, Promise Kept and a national Doritos commercial.

Johnson stands on a platform of giving back and helping others. She is a representative of the American Cancer Society and lends her time to other worthy organizations.

“I feel good representing the [American Cancer Society],” said Johnson. She also contributes other organizations such as Greater Than AIDS and Multiple Sclerosis. She expressed that she wishes to “help people more.”

Keep an eye out for this multi-talented young lady as she is sure to reach the stars. Briana Johnson is sure to change the world.
