Women’s Day at Crenshaw Methodist Church

“Blessed is the Woman Who Walks With God”   is the theme of the Annual Women’s Day Celebration at Crenshaw United Methodist Church, 3740 Don Felipe Drive on  Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 11:00 am.  Lydia Cincore-Templeton Esq, United Methodist Missionary, will be the honored guest Liturgist.   Church members will portray great women of the Bible and their contributions to the faith. Come learn about Rizpah, Hannah, Ruth, Deborah, Esther and Elizabeth. Enjoy special music by the Women’s Day Chorus under the direction of Miriam White, accompanied by Dr. Raleigh Bastine.  Members and friends are invited to wear bright jewel colors such as amber, topaz yellow, turquoise and sapphire blue, garnet and ruby red, peridot and emerald green, and amethyst purple. A dessert reception will immediately follow the service.  Mrs. Edith Goff-Youngblood and Ms. Carol Gillard are Co-Chairpersons of Women’s Day.  Rev. Dr. Hilly G Hicks, Pastor. 323 292-0141.
