Rebuilding Greater L.A. to Host Winter Wonderland-Toy Giveaway City Fire Dept., KABC 7 Sparks of Love set to attend event

More than 100 kids are expected to receive toys and play in the transported snow at Messiah Nutritional Foundation at 8928 St. Figueroa St. on Saturday Dec. 17th beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The Winter Wonderland event hosted by Rebuilding Together Los Angeles in association with the Los Angeles City Fire department and KABC 7 Sparks of Love Foundation will provide meals and toys to all youths in attendance.

“We think this is a wonderful time to give the community kids an opportunity to play in the snow and receive some gifts during the Christmas season,” said Deanna Johnson, President of Rebuilding Together Los Angeles.

Congressional Representative Maxine Waters and City Councilman Bernard Parks have been invited to attend as well.

Peace Chapel of Los Angeles is among local churches that will also be participating.
